Bird Park Ride - 22 July 2007

Vimal and Kishalya on their new bikes, with Aziz on his, just before the ride from Umfolozi Bird Park.
After last weeks' ride, Aziz is much more inspired to ride, and he lasted the whole hour or so, with only a few "sore thumb" complaints....

Following closely, looking out for giraffe and zebra.....

Adam, Aziz and Kishalya, at our new favourite picnic spot - the kids had sarmies, and played hide-and-seek....great fun!

The King Quad, and the Trailblazer, sandwiching Zi's 50cc, just before departing for home after a very pleasant morning's ride.

Though we only covered about 20kms on this ride, we took longer than 2 hours, with all breaks and loading/offloading time included - a good lesson in logistics for Vimals' first real outride experience.

The KingQuad handles like a dream; even though I had it on idle for most of this ride, the comfort level and latent power is a real boon to have on board - I'm looking forward to putting it through a more demanding test, soon.

On the way home, we stopped off at Eteza to check out the track, and use the ablutions - check out the completed pavilion next to the MX track!

There were some serious quads at the venue, including a CanAm DX650s, a couple of Banshees and a Predator 500....
They ALL held their breath when they spotted the King, but exhaled slowly once they realised that I wasn't going to ride!
