H and I saddled up the Ysterperde early in the morning and made our way to Umfolozi Bird Park
This was H's longest trip, being 55 kms and a solid 2 hrs of riding time. She also reached her highest max speeds on this journey, having gained much confidence in the saddle over the last few rides....
We "stumbled" across a terrific hide in the forest, overlooking a lake near the Bird Park, that would make a splendid future picnic spot.
Though I didn't pack the camera on this trip (doh!), I DID have my GPS, and have saved the route and relevant waypoints....
Returning via the forests just south of Eteza, H took the lead and steered us home without any use of technology....
